Web Layout Class

I just finished my Web Layout1 class and would like to talk about.
At the beginning I was excited about the class on learning how to build web sites. But then as the course went by it was no fun. I was not understanding the whole css and html codes, infact, I wanted to quit going to class and just forget about web design. But my Instructor encourage me to continue going that later I was going to understand it.
Well here I am after 2 months of web design, I can tell you that now I understand it. It was a tought class with lots of assignment but I survived.

Thanks Mr. Williams

So how much do Web Designers make?

The answer to that question varies. The salary earnings of a web designer are affected by a number of things. Currently, web designers can be categorized into three positions.

Web Graphic designer: These types of designers are charged with the construction and design of the web layout. Graphic designers are less concerned with the coding involved in website constructions and are instead more focused on creating the eventual layout. Web designers in this category are normally found to earn between $20,000 and $50,000. Thanks to their skill, most graphic designers are also qualified in other graphical representations such as those required by advertising companies. By being involved in this, a graphical designer can earn as much as $90,000.

Web designers (front end coding): A front end web designer, is one who is competent with the use of website scripts such as Css and html. These designers are able to take convert graphical representations into actual web pages which can then be viewed online. Web designers like these earn more than graphic designers and are normally found with salary values of $40,000 to $70,000. A web designer who is also competent with graphic design will be able to push his annual earnings even higher.

Web programmers: A web programmer has a more demanding job as he is charged with writing essential and vital programming codes which are used in running important sites. Websites such as yahoo and Google employ back end coding which allows them perform effectively. Web programmers are the highest earning class of web designers and can make an annual salary of well over $100,000.

As you can see there is potential for any of us. Don't just dream your dream. Live it!

Web Designing

Web Design can be fun to learn, but very time consuming. You need to learn the basic of web design. You need to learn basic photoshop editing, fireworks, illustrator and a few other programs. As state above, you need to have lots of patients when designing a web page. Get a good instructor to help you. Learn as much as you can from your instructor. It becomes a headache when you don't know what your doing. Always ask lots of questions and take as many tutorias from the internet.
Web design can be fun when you know what your doing.

How to make your web site appeal to the Human eye.

There are many good and bad websites. For those websites that are eye catching, we love them so much, that we come back to them several times a week. An there are others that are just so bad, that we never come to them ever again. We are very inpatient and for those websites where there graphics take a minute to load, we just simply leave the website and continue going. As individuals we each have our own opinions and we’ll never fully agree on which websites are good and which ones are bad.

There are many factors on determining a good website. In my personal opinion, I believe that I good website should have the following:

1-Purpose

Everyone can have a website if they desire. But they also need to have a purpose of why they chose to have that website. For instance, it was built because they have a pharmacy and building an online pharmacy could help there customers place there orders online.

2-Usability

For any website to be a successful website, users/people need to be able to use it. It needs to have what it was built for. site needs to have an effective search function, logical categorization of products for browsing, a user-friendly shopping cart, etc.

There are many other factors on determining a good website from a bad website, but because I also need to study for my exam. I'm going to stop here and come back to edit this post and give you more determine factors of a good website from a bad website.

Modeling in 3D animation

If you just starting learning 3D animation, you must know about modeling.
M
odeling is the first step in producing a 3D image or animation. You cannot render if you don't have an image or object to render. Modeling requires a balance of quality and speed. There are two aspects of the speed equation.
The first one is the more complex the model is, the long it will take to build.
The second one is, the more polygons an object has, the longer it will take to render. So the rule for modeling is, "if you really don't need it, don't build it". This rule applies to every single modeling situation. If you plan, it will help you, specially for animation. Do a preview before modeling, you will know which parts need your attention in your project.
Good luck.

A real World in 3D Graphics

Digital 3D graphics offer a visual simulation of the physical world in which we live in. Still some of us confuse the term "virtual reality" with 3d graphics, but they are not the same. However, if you break down the core of what makes 3D graphics tick, you will understand ways in which 3D graphics relates to reality.

3D graphics is being used in an unlimited number of fields. It is currently being used in entertainment industries, engineering and design, to architecture, and even in the world of fine art. Even in today's technology virtual reality its not possible because reality systems have so far been limited to create truly believable graphics at the display rate required. However slowly but surely, 3D technology is eroding this barrier and 3D graphics in the future will play a greater role in our life.

3D Graphics

Using 3D graphics you can create images of products even before they get manufactured. From buildings to bridges, house and automotive, yet to get the go ahead. But that's not the only things you can create with 3D graphics. You can also use 3d for chemical processing to hurricane analysis. These demonstrates of how far 3D technology has come along.

All of these process, begins by creating a 3D model reproducing the geometry of the real world products. At that time materials can be defined for the object's components, ad finally the scene can be lit. Using a 3D camera you can actually capture the scene by rendering it an any size, angle and quality, as often as it requires it. It takes a lot less time to produce all of these changes in 3D animation, than you would by had.
